About Us

Welcome to Yarra Valley Occupational Therapy.

Yarra Valley Occupational Therapy was founded in 2024 by Chloe Boughen, a highly qualified and experienced occupational therapist, to improve access to high-quality occupational therapy services in the Eastern suburbs and Yarra Valley region of Melbourne.

Chloe is a fully registered occupational therapist with AHPRA and holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Practice as well as a second Masters in Mental Health from La Trobe University. She is also a registered teacher (VIT) with a Graduate Diploma in Education. Her diverse experience includes aged care, inpatient rehabilitation, and paediatrics, along with teaching in schools and at the tertiary level internationally.

With a holistic, person-centred approach, Chloe integrates physical and mental health strategies to support individuals in achieving their goals and enhancing their well-being. As a proud member of OT Australia, she remains up to date with best practices to ensure the highest standard of care.

Outside of her professional work, Chloe enjoys playing the piano, walking, reading, drawing, and photography—all the images on this website are her own. She also has a deep appreciation for nature and animals, including her artistic dog, Federico Fellini—though he has yet to direct his first film.
